the next day we spent alternating between trying to boogie board (sadly, i never got a picture of me and my badass boogie board, which i bought at a cheap surf shop for $12. it was pretty awesome, though. flaming skulls and all. tommy named it the widowmaker.) and drinking and semi-tanning and having smackdown water fights in the pool, etc. i was actually busy having fun during the day, so i didn't get to capture any of it on film. brought the camera back out that night, though...

matt and i played a fair amount of ping pong, and i will admit that he's pretty good. since he beat me every time and all. we've agreed to start the d.c. ping pong initiative. because really, not enough people in d.c. play ping pong. i have a feeling partisan differences would just fall to the wayside during a good match. ping pong is a uniter. not a divider.

later that night was...drum roll...trivial pursuit! fran and amy are displeased at tommy and matt's winning streak, which started early. as in, they got five pie pieces all on their first turn.

sad trivial pursuit players...

happy trivial pursuit players!

after tommy and matt's victory, asshole was the next game of choice. my liver was so repulsed by me at that point that i opted out, but a jolly time was had by all.

moon over water. probably too dark.
