Bad link, it should be this.

This is interesting. I never meant to steal from anyone, in spite of my piratical name, though I'm also a bit perplexed as to what exactly I'm stealing.

We have fun on my blog, my fans and I. Some are from as far away as California, Tennessee, and New York, and they all wish they could come out/up/down and see me. The important thing isn't so much the name as the attitude.

As far as the store goes, we've raised only a few dollars, but the store was created as an entertaining compliment to the blog, not the other way around. I'm all for panda conservation efforts, so it's pretty kickass to know that a name, however fatty and vaguely yellowy colored, is responsible for raising that much money. So long as my poor brethern in the hills of China can keep their habitats and figure out how to reproduce, it doesn't really matter what name inspires the donations.

And while we're settling the record, I was not involved in the posting of the Wikipedia entry. What can I say...my fans have a bit of the rogue in them, too.
