Wow, this is pretty cool. It's a shame that all of Europe seems to be a flat gray mass when you zoom in.

man, that tool is dangerous -- i shrugged when i first read about it, then took a look, then spent almost two hours adding photos to my map. ack!

Am also spending a lot of time with this feature, but the stupid things keep identifying my Georgia mountain photos as being in North Ossetia, which I can only assume is sinister Russian influence on Yahoo Maps' boundaries.

y'all are being good and detailed with your maps. i got frustrated with yahoo's inability to find actual specific addresses of places i wanted so i just took to dumping all the photos in one city. i should fix that later if i can...

it's actually easier to just zoom in and drag your stuff rather than trying to rely on specific addresses -- which are often wrongly placed on the map, if they're found at all.

but in towns as small as austin and D.C. you can just drag yourself around easily. i discovered this while playing around with how precise the map got. surprisingly so: if you follow this link, you can see where i distinguish between the shots i took inside the texas capitol and the shot of an albino squirrel i took on the texas capitol grounds. weird stuff.
