I realize it's hot out, but tonight is probably the best Fort Reno lineup of the summer (and certainly the one with the most Unbuckled alumni): Georgie James, Hard Tomorrows, and The Fake Accents (who I'm not familiar with). Show starts at 7:15 and is free, as always. And it's within walking distance from the Tenleytown Metro. Who's in?

Shellac is the show of the summer at Fort Reno by far, at least in my book. Can't wait to see them there and then a few weeks later at the Touch and Go 25th. I might turn up tonight, depending on what time I can get out of work.

Unfortunately, it got rained out. So maybe you'll get another chance, assuming they reschedule.
Man, getting all the way to Tenleytown only to find it's a) not raining anymore and b) the show's cancelled anyway... it's pretty sucky.
They tried to wait it out, but it was raining really hard for a while and it was very windy. Plus there was lightning. Maybe they'll reschedule?
