Heath Ledger? I swear that IMDB used to say this was cast as Paul Bettany, who I think would actually be good. Heath, not so much.
you're RIGHT. i read that somewhere, too. gah. bettany would have been a bajillion times better.
apparently that was just a rumor. bettany will be playing lord asriel in his dark materials, though...opposite nicole kidman as mrs. coulter, which i think is a sucky choice.
Heath's gigantic forehead will surely distract me from the rest of the movie.
too bad he's already Scarecrow, if he just cracks that smile wide enough to see his gums I think Cillian Murphy would make an excellent Joker
