Last Friday I saw the film adaptation of "The Devil Wears Prada." Thoroughly average. Why can't they make quality movies out of classic works of literature...like "The Da Vinci Code"?

i know! hello, uva has a fabulous english program. why are they making folks read chick lit? us english majors should make our own damn book club.

i actually liked the movie, but i've never read the book. maybe i am underestimating it!
