my head

getting set up to buy radiohead tickets (ie, opening 32 billion different tabs in firefox and preparing myself to refresh them constantly; hey, it worked before!) while so hungover that my eyes can barely focus is perhaps not the most fun thing i've done on a saturday morning. curse you, radiohead. the things i do!

UPDATE: well, that went as expected. the biggest piece of bullshit? ticketmaster telling me that i could only have one browser window open to request tickets. what. the. fuck. on the other hand, it's nice to know that radiohead is still the only band capable of making me so giddy/nervous at even the possibility of seeing them that i want to throw up.

sigh.

Did you get any? Cause I did not for Philly and am heartbroken. Woe is me for getting up so early only to wind up ticketless.

Did you get tickets??!! I am still really bitter that they aren't coming to D.C.

Only one browser window? That's bullshit. I wonder whether they enforce that with cookies, or IPs, or what. Probably cookies.

I've been itching to build a script to automatically grab tickets, but it's pretty hard to get the sample pages needed to simulate the experience and then manipulate it.

Beth lost out on the Philly show, too. She blames me, logically.

I bet you could come up with a firefox extension that allowed you to have ad-hoc per-tab cookies. Some rules for how they'd ultimately get folded back into the browser-wide cookie set.

I am so disappointed by this whole Rasiohead tour thing. I was getting so excited to possibly see them this summer, etc. Like you, I think that they are the only group that makes me all silly sick when I think about going to see them.

Ah well.
