UPDATE: you can listen to mike doughty's gorgeous song "i hear the bells" over here (it's number 8). the song was featured in the episode. i've managed to never listen to any of doughty's stuff before, but that is all changing!

it seems pretty clear by now that woody is some sort of molester and that lucky was perhaps a victim of his. this doesn't explain the female hooker, but i suppose it's also possible that lucky has a female relative that has been victimized by woody.
i'm guessing that meg was given chlamydia by lucky in some bizarre manner, and meg passed it on to duncan, who unknowingly passed it on to veronica. that or else logan has chlamydia and he is so smolderingly hot that he can have sex with you just by looking at you. wouldn't that be an awesome super power.
did not need to see wallace have the sex.
i had floated some weird theory earlier in the week about gia and jackie having conspired in some weird way to do the bombing because they had possibly found out about their fathers having a relationship. maybe the bomb was intended for their fathers while they were at the stadium but was mistakenly delayed and instead went off on the bus, and the students weren't victims at all. but not so sure about jackie and gia being evil after this episode or having been able to carry that guilt throughout the season. i am, however, leaning more towards the theory that the whole bus crash was just an accident and any bomb was meant for somebody else.
leo is teh cute. "in a tough, mumbly way." heh.
ok, the school shooting in the previews? PLEASE NO? it is so cliched...but i still trust rob thomas. lucky will presumably end up committing suicide or shot by the police. jackie, dead? i could deal. my hope is that logan will, in a moment of terribly cliched heroism, take a bullet for veronica and she'll reaffirm her love for him while he's on his deathbed a la anne of green gables with gilbert and the scarlet fever. because...
PLEASE GOD LET THEM GET TOGETHER. they are so goddamn hot together in every scene. it's gotta happen or my head will explode.

oh yeah, about meg and lucky - i wouldn't be surprised if the baby is his and not duncan's. but i would hope, even if that is the case, that duncan never ever comes back to the show!

So what's up with giving V the clap? It didn't factor into the ep at all. By next ep, it'll presumably be all cleared up.

That, and the real reason she ran out on Logan. "My course of antibiotics isn't complete yet! We can't reuinte now! I've still got the clap!" Or at least, in my mind.
TWOP is surmising that Duncan slept with Big Ho Kendall, but I think the Meg/Lucky scenario, or at least, the Meg/Somebody scenario, is much meatier. But I wouldn't frown on a story line that makes Veronica write Duncan off forever.
I thought the clap was gonorrhea.

I also think the chlamydia's a clue. And Cassidy's reluctance to fool around with Mac. Some sort of child sex ring involving Meg's dad and Woody?
the thing i don't understand about the chlamydia is that...it's so easily treatable. right? so like beaver could have gotten it treated soon and it wouldn't have been a problem to have sex with mac later.
i also wanted to say, i think jackie might be a goner. that's the only reason i can think they emphasized that terrible sex scene so much otherwise.
