some thoughts!

just kidding. nothing serious, really, except i think that lucky/janitor character will be key, in some way. when he interrupted veronica and logan making out in the car, he referenced that they had to "make somebody pay" because the "ball was in their court." i'm assuming he helped logan and dick burn down the community swimming pool, no? but the key would be how this ties into meg...any ideas? everyone feel free to leave comments here. and when i say everyone, i mean amanda and kathryn, my dedicated cohorts in VM love :)

I thought the "ball was in your court" was dirested at Logan saying hurry up making out with your girlfriend and let's go. But I actually have had a copy of the script for a while, and have avoided looking at it as not to be spoiled but now that I've seen it, Lucky's lines were, "Come on, man. We're done screwing around. Ball's in our court. Someone's gotta pay." So the question now is: who?

my guess is that it was the PCHers in some way, and that's why they burned down the pool, but that could be way off base...

I so want to read what you wrote and comment and theorize and share the VM love, but... I forgot to set my VCR (TiVo was getting Scrubs). I have to wait for TiVo to catch Saturday's ep. Sorry. I had dad in town for dinner then had to rush to the gym and teach for two hours.

Not that you need to know, just sayin' it takes a LOT to make me forget VM at such a critical juncture!!!

I definitely think you're right on the money about Lucky. And he seems like the idiotic type who could have been tricked into helping with other things too, so there's a possible bus connection there.

My reaction to last night's episode: Too... Many... Clues!

Woody's definitely gay. Definitely. I mean, his name is Woody afterall. Aside from that, I'm not entirely sure what we're supposed to glean from everything else. For starters: the whole Dick & Beaver life insurance bit? And Dick's PWT girlfriend?

I'm really enjoying the new found interaction between Wallace & Logan. They've barely shared scenes before, and Wallace is sooooo in the know as far as who still loves who.

And, I'm tired of Meg. Even dead she's a little too preachy. Veronica's a detective! Chill out!

OK, in the past 30 seconds since I posted my first response, I've read an interview with Jason Dorhing. The followinag two Q/As kinda blow my mind. I'm sure he feels obligated to say stuff like this, but if it's true, I'll not know what to do with myself four episodes from now:

TVGuide.com: This week you wrap up shooting for the season. How best can you tease the material you've been handed for the finale?
Dohring: I can't say too much (under penalty of death), but it contains the most exciting half an hour in the history of the show.

TVGuide.com: As this season nears its end, how do you compare it to Season 1? What's been different?
Dohring: I feel like this season actually wraps up more things, brings it all together, and the end of Season 2 has a lot more significance than the end of Season 1.
