life and times with modern love

posted by catherine / March 11, 2006 /

hey! let's play a game! everybody, try to figure out the point of this weekend's modern love column. anyone who can sum it up accurately in one sentence will get, uh, something. fame and fortune, most likely.

my entry: "i seem to have a wonderful husband, a wonderful child, yet i can't shake this feeling, somehow, that i am the most annoying person on the planet."

I think you nailed it. Why would someone publish this about themselves? Are we supposed to find her charming? I am not charmed.

I love when you get riled up about these columns! I have no entry for your game...but - the ending, where she realizes why she needs her husband, because he does things gradually? I think he's gonna be gradually visiting the divorce lawyer fairly shortly.
