posted by catherine / January 16, 2006 / kriston and i are concerned about the fate of one of our favorite sites, unfogged, after the revelation that ogged apparently reset the tivo:
pablohoney: dude did you read that ogged reset the tivo
Cappseus: yup
Cappseus: unfogged is over
pablohoney: totally
it was good while it lasted.

pablohoney?
Don't try to change the subject.
it's the name of radiohead's first album. i used to be beyond obessed with the band, and it's been my aol instant messanger name since i was 15.
now, i told you that info, you must inform us on the tivo!
I'm keeping the tivo business under my hat, so to speak. You, dear catherine, may be polite, but the rest of the unfoggetariat...bunch of savages.
boo. well, an understandable policy, if disappointing.
Not just "pablohoney", but "Cappseus"?
Not that my "messanger" (sic) name isn't ridiculous.
My prediction: reconciliation with the ex.
scandalous!
and pablohoney is a totally awesome IM name. don't even try to deny it.
Cappseus is not really an awesome IM name, but it's mine from high school, too.
y'all have nothing on me for bad IM names: mine is from a cartoon character so obscure that he doesn't even show up on google. now THAT'S a stupid handle.
That's not a prediction, young Ben.
is it REALITY?
Oh dear. I am giving the impression that I have inside information, when I do not.
It is not a prediction because it concerns the past; so strictly speaking it is a guess, or to use a technical term a retrodiction.
This distinction is close to an area I work in, so I got picky about it.
I have no information about what the story is, because for some reason Ogged won't tell me.
Also, obscure cartoon character names are AWESOMELY cool. I would totally want that for my IM screen name, if I had one. (gremlinfromthekremlin unfortunately does show up on google.)
