Iraqi cities secured/terrorists killed/votes cast... none of these metrics are such sure signs of western civilization's inevitable dominance as this.

Confirmed:

"Yes, I can confirm the existance of a new Applebee's in Riyadh! Just passed it on our way back from an Indian restaurant Thursday night. Of course, no alcoholic beverages are served at any restaurant in Saudi Arabia, be they American restaurants or not."

So I guess massive margaritas are out of the question.
