Hawt. But then why was she flirting with jack before boarding the plane? I suspect this is just someone deciding she's a lesbian because she's tough.
Besides which, where do you go with that plotline? Have someone try to convert her? Awkwardly invent another gay character for her to have a will-they-won't-they thing that, after it ends, has nowhere to go? I just don't see it happening.
remembe the person who left her was named danny...and i read that it might have stood for danielle. they never mentioned the character's gender. but i agree, i don't know where it would go, unless kate is bi or something.
And we all hope that she is. "Lost: Too Hot for TV" would make quite the DVD extra.
