i can tell, it's time for some serious intervention. chicago has apparently gotten to me in a deep, dark way.
because i am SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING BUYING BOOTS WITH FUR ON THEM THAT I WOULD TUCK MY JEANS INTO AND I NEED YOU ALL TO STOP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

The only cool versions of those are the lace up kind that aren't shapeless uggs. You know, they show off the shape of the foot and all and aren't shapeless boxes on the foot?
So, fur-opped, lace-up boots get the thumbs up from me. (And we both know I can be pretty harsh in my fashion judgements).
just do it. seriously, it's functional if you're going to be walking in 12 ft. of snow. now in dc, if you're doing it, then we can make fun of you.
i think this means i might have to also buy skinny straightleg jeans to tuck in there. sigh.

I somehow managed to find fur-lined boots that aren't boxy uggs and that you do not have to tuck your jeans into in order to wear them. Once again, Hush Puppies. But, I'll admit I do occasionally wear them with a skirt. There must be some secret part of me that wants to go back to L.A. and hang out at Fred Segal, smoking and sucking on a Jamba Juice and trying to meet B-list actors who want to take me to Vegas.
Snow? Forget boots, head south.

I just got some skinny jeans. They feel weird. But starlet at the same time.
Of course I heart LA, so go figure.
(PS - My new skinny jeans are Lucky brand and they say "lucky You" just inside the zipper...it makes me laugh whenever I see it.)
