bigger and better

Remember that DC Metro Google Maps hack that I posted? Well, I've finished it. You can now use it to create your own maps, get directions, and do geocoding. I think it's pretty slick. Have a look here and let me know if you run into any problems.

That's pretty sweet. If you have a minute or two, do you think you could build one for the San Francisco Bay?

This should be all the info you need,
www.bart.gov
www.sfmuni.com
www.actransit.org
www.caltrain.com
www.vta.org

get cracking!

Alright. Just keep checking your mail.

Seriously though, this should be usable by others when I release it in its final form.

Nice work. Too bad the Metrorail lines' exact paths aren't plotted, but an approximation will do for now. You should try to do the Metrobus system next, though that, I'd imagine, would take a lot more work .

yeah -- i figured that the actual route of the lines wouldn't be that important for most people. my next priority is to provide detail on specific station exit locations, then perhaps do a taxi zone overlay. the bus system would be cool, but obviously would take a ton of work.
