The torrent for this week's episode of Lost can be found here.

The torrent for this week's episode of Veronica Mars isn't up yet, but I'll post it here when it becomes available.

And if you prefer your Lost catching-up to come in text form, head over to DCeiver's place for a full and hilarious recap. Catch it now before TWoP snatches him up and forces him to expand each of these summaries to 20,000 in-joke-ridden words.

UPDATE: Catherine found an S2E02 Veronica Mars torrent here.

You're a prince among men! I'm downloading now. Only 137 hours left to go!

that should actually speed up, believe it or not.

also, are you behind a router? or does the connection go straight from your laptop into the DSL/cable modem? if it's the former, I might be able to offer some tips on how to get it to speed up.

Um. I plug directly into the DSL modem. However, in my network connections I have numbers entered for the "router" field. So maybe a router exists somewhere.

ah, okay. well, os x has a firewall on by default. If you go to this page and scroll about halfway down to where it says "To open ports in the Mac OS X firewall, do the following:", it'll walk you through 8 quick steps. They only need to be done once, and should dramatically improve your download speeds.

(not immediately, though. it might take as much as fifteen minutes for you to begin to see a difference.)

Okay. I'm already down to 39 hours. It'll be nice if it goes even faster. Thanks again for keeping me pop culturally relevant.

Is anyone wondering where the hell the Veronica Mars Episode 2 torrent is? I love that show, its addicting.

Posted by: elias on October 6, 2005 03:38 PM

I know I am. But I don't think the show has quite the internet critical mass that Lost does. Last week the torrent was up by this time on Thursday, though, so I expect it to appear soon.
