Am I the only one unfamiliar with the Church of Flying Spaghetti Monsterism? Maybe I should start reading those flyers I get handed when I go downtown.

That temperature vs. pirates graph is poorly designed. Whoever put it on a coffee mug should be ashamed.

Bloggy nominee, best website about spirituality?

At the risk of proving how little I do at work sometimes, I'd just like to point out that their graph should look like this:

credit for using the appropriate SI pirate unit, but the author staunchly maintains that his graph is correct.

OK, that's too great. I nominate Jeff's graph to be official Zunta swag. (Uh, they'll give you a cut, Jeff.) His and hers merch (this'd be Tom's).

Oooh—sounds as if Jeff lacks faith in FSM. Speaking of swag, I think I'm buying everything that site sells.

That graph is messed up, because the x-axis isn't divided into units on any logical scheme. There's no way to know, based on the values of x1…xn, what the value at xn+1 will be. Distorts the view.

 tags don't seem to work.

yeah, no sub in comments (we have to specifically allow tags), but I believe div and span work, so you can probably fake it.

I see what you're saying about the x-axis; couldn't it be a parametric function, since the plotted years indicate the derivative of t at a given point?

Yeah, probably not.
