via amanda, check out the major damage uva's central grounds recently sustained due to an apparently huge-ass killer storm. at least the homer statue survived intact. countless lawn streakers everywhere are safe.

I'd just like to point out that Sakura has established itself time and again as the best restaurant on the corner by continuing to serve food despite the lack of power during both the hurricane 2 years ago and this most recent crazy-ass storm. And for those of you who haven't heard, Frank's closed.
