So are you confirming your hipster status by going to see Stephen Malkmus at the Black CXat on 6/4?
probably...i don't think he puts on that great of a show, though. i saw him a few years ago in charlottesville and it was pretty good, but then i saw him in milan in 2003 and it was TERRIBLE.
I donno about the Malkmus show, personally. After the first listen I'm pretty underwhelmed by the new album. I didn't like Pig Lib much either (love his solo debut tho -- heresy, I know).
Um, John Basedow did perish in the Tsunami, so no one needs to regret not decapitating him.
