sonic youth are opening for the pixies when they come to merriweather this june! if merriweather weren't a hellhole of a venue, that'd be a pretty amazing show.

Ah, Merriweather Post, the location of my first concert experiences. I never had to drive there when I was in high school, since I could walk there from my parent's house in Columbia. It was a long walk, but worth avoiding parking at the pavilion. When you go up, you could always avoid the backup on 29 to get off at Broken Land and pull into the Merriweather parking, and come in on 175, park at the mall and walk over instead.
