One of my greatest regrets in life was missing a Bob Mould/Pixies show while I was in high school.
As for questions, I'm not sure. Something along the lines of "what's it like to be a cult hero?"
Nah, sounds too much like the Chris Farley show. "You remember when you were in Husker Du? That was awesome!"
Gotta ask him about his time with WCW. Seriously. He's a huge wrestling mark and I think booked some matches for them.
Ask him to comment on the rumor that he's reforming Sugar with Brendan McCanty on drums.
Oh... and what's his latest workout regiment.
I would ask him about Minneapolis in the 80s, or if he knew Prince or Paul Westerberg. Ask him why he thinks Minneapolis managed to produce these great artists. Something like that.
i asked the WCW and sugar questions, but not the minn. one - sorry, charles. focusing on minn. in a dc interview seemed a bit off.
