hottness
muse is playing the 9:30 club november 8th, the upstate life is reporting. though i haven't listened to them in a super long time, i used to be obsessed with them. they were some damn good britpop. earlyish radiohead, at least when i last listened to them. i even wrote an overthetop gushing review of their first cd for the dec.
anyway, that's one of the cds i am meaning to pick up, along with the arcade fire. where the hell is a good record store in d.c., by the way?

Bah, don't get us started. As soon as Susan and I can find some suckers to invest in us we're opening a record store. Featuring "Their Old Stuff Was Better" DJed nights and the occasional "Fuck You: I Like (band) Anyway." It will be hot.
I've seen Muse making the rounds on MTV2 lately, and liked what I heard. Reviews of them seem to vary between praising them and dismissing them as a talented but soulless radiohead tribute band.
Why don't we just open a music store? I band I use to know did it.
yeah dude. we can buy one of those abandoned buildings on 9th street. or a cooler area. and kriston and susan want to do a record store/bar, we could all bartend!
