suckage

posted by catherine / August 24, 2004 /

i would like to take this opportunity to say that most of my friends' blogs suck. that's right. you, you, you, and you. stop having "lives." stop this "being productive." you need to come back indoors, sit behind your computer, and starting wasting your days away. okay?

ps: i have been told that this was a "mean post" and apparently it was not clear enough that i a) don't actually think my friends' blog suck or that b) i really in fact would like them to post a lot more because i enjoy reading what they write. sorry!

good strategy: go on the attack on the day when we have two 50 word posts.

Dude Becca's been on vacation even you, the queen of blog posting, didn't post on vacation!

Posted by: Julie on August 25, 2004 09:51 AM

when i was in italy? i in fact posted at least twice from italy (though not the beach; no computer; stone harbor didn't even have internet cafes). vacation should not be an excuse! rar!

Alright catherine you made me do this.

unrequited narcissism has no posts listed for the months of:

Feb 2003
Jul 2003
Aug 2003
Sep 2003
Nov 2003

granted you've been much more active this year but you really have to give us novice bloggers a break!

Posted by: Julie on August 25, 2004 01:20 PM

yeah!

Posted by: tom on August 25, 2004 01:25 PM

NO BREAKS! plus i was traveling during february, and i only posted back then when i had photos to put up. and then i moved back to the states and spent my time looking for a job/place to live in the months thereafter. how DARE you question my blogging proficiency! this is a smear campaign.

"plus i was traveling during february"
I thought you just said that vacation is not an excuse?

"i only posted back then when i had photos to put up"
um didn't you just say "NO BREAKS!"?

"and then i moved back to the states and spent my time looking for a job/place to live in the months thereafter"
as i remember you still had unlimited access through your parents computer, come on catherine most of your time was spent on the interenet already "looking for a job/place to live"

"this is a smear campaign"
Is it still a smear campaign if it's the truth?

you're right on vacation, i will cut becca slack for that. and you're right that i had lots of computer access those months, but that was before this site was an AWESOME REAL blog. like, posting words. it was just a photoblog before then. i resolved to write on it around december 2003 probably, and i challenge you to find an extended period of time when it wasn't updated after that. whereas yall have started blogs, told everyone you started blogs, and then never update which sucks for people who have nothing to do at work, aka me. don't be a blogtease!

Posted by: catherine on August 25, 2004 01:43 PM

although i see you've posted a couple of things now, of which i heartily approve.

Posted by: catherine on August 25, 2004 01:50 PM

thank you for heartily approving. but i never made such a resolution to post regularly myself. So, please forgive me as i continue to post sporatically. You'll just have to deal with it or go back to your political blogs. Or here is another alternative:

Posted by: catherine on August 25, 2004 02:05 PM

girls, girls, girls. c'mon now. there's enough internet for everybody.

Posted by: tom on August 25, 2004 02:07 PM

hehe

Posted by: Julie on August 25, 2004 02:07 PM

sorry about that, i didn't realise how bitchy that sounded until i just went back and read it. I didn't mean it to be so bad. but apparently i'm in a vile mood today.

when i was in italy? i in fact posted at least twice from italy

Can you prove you were in Italy at the time, or were you just near Italy?!!!
