one reason (of many) i love my dad
emails this morning:
> Also, I've been thinking about giving you some of my vintage vinyl lps
> which should be worth something for you to sell on e-bay and use that
>money for your goal. what do you think? I think I could probably come
>with stuff worth several hundred dollars. I'll also pledge $200.00, but
>I'll just give you cash directly. ok?
> dad you don't have to do that! i don't want you to part with your albums. i
>will, however, take your cash without problems.
>It wouldn't be a problem - I don't listen to them at all anymore and this would
>be a unique way to raise some funds
no kidding, my dad has hundreds upon hundreds of vinyl albums sitting in our basement, and he's probably correct that a lot of them could be sold for a significant amount. we'll see. is anyone here into collecting vinyl? perhaps i can offer them on the blog before posting them somewhere else.
anyway. i gotta do something super good for father's day.

I believe that an extensive vinyl collection is all that my future upstairs roommate is bringing with him from Texas. You should definitely let me know what you have so I can tell him, since he'll inevitably be trolling eBay's vinyl section anyway.
ooo...any Beatles, I want to know about.
Count me in as well; old vinyl collections can be a gold mine. What a killer pledge from your dad!
is that erik moving in upstairs, kriston?
He's referring to Jeremy, who will be Erik's roommate. Jeremy, as in my old roommate, formerly of "Jessica and Jeremy."
