ALSO, tommy just told me some VERY EXCITING news about a certain (speaking of adorable, he is the adorablest) musician of a certain ex-band playing a certain hut in a certain d.c. suburb on a certain date. yes.

Hmm. "Choire"? Funny how nobody in hip, cosmopolitan NYC is named "Dave". Also, what's up with these people's feet? Nick Denton looks sufficiently British (ie pasty) for me to let him slide, though.

But what about the other shining jewel of the Gawker media empire?
Here's Joel Johnson, the current author of my beloved Gizmodo. And if that's not sufficient, here's one of him in a Girl Scout uniform.

Sidenote: anyone know why movable type doesn't allow IMG tags in comments? I specifically have "allow HTML in comments" turned on, but it keeps stripping out any inline images I put in...
