tuesday pics
since i'm actually too lazy to get my stuff together and post the rest of the italy photos, for right now, i'll put up a few of the ones i've ordered prints of on shutterfly. there's like, four of them, and they're completely random. but take a look. they're not very exciting.

yum. mario's. great restaurant in florence near the san lorenzo market. i mostly ordered a print of it so i could send it to mrs. gordon, my grandmother's friend who let me stay with her in florence in february 2003. she took me to mario's for lunch one day -- it was her favorite place, she said, because she used to go there constantly with her late husband when he was consulate general of florence in the 60s.
milan on a sunny day! here are some spires of the duomo. unfortunately, the front of the duomo has been completely covered by scaffolding for two or three years now. in fact, i've never seen the duomo without the scaffolding, so i've never seen it in its full glory. the only way you can glimpse a sense of the awesomeness is by going around to the side and looking up.
