TND is hearing through the grapevine that that Playboy magazine is in discussions to offer both Cutler and Cox a six figure deal to pose nude for an upcoming issue of Playboy timed for the fall elections - more if they pose together. Cutler, who has done her share of glam-photos in the past, would be looking at a hefty pay increase over the $400 per hour she was earning as a DC escort for Capital Hill staffes and cabinet officials.

no doubt spurred by this picture of the two, or this appearance on fox news. actually, it was probably these shots. hot or not? you decide.

also via gawker, it seems mr. wonkette, formerly of the washington post book world, is coming on as an editor at new york magazine. no word if this means the wonkettes will be leaving their arlington digs.

this is a party i would love to crash, except i'm sure it would be so mind-numbingly boring and self-congratulatory that i'd have to drink all the alcohol and pass out in the bathtub. though...that doesn't sound like a bad way to spend an evening.

i was browsing through some blog archives today (see what a dedicated employee i am?) and i realized that, if i'm not mistaken, one year ago today was david okano and heather johnson's wedding. so even though neither of them read this, i know some friends of theirs do, and i thought it'd be nice if we could shoot them an email wishing them a happy anniversary.

pictures from their wedding are located here. it took place right outside of charlottesville, va; the rehersal dinner was at northern exposure and the ceremony and reception were at an outdoor pavilion at ashlawn-highland. jessica and i won the prize (well, the prize that we made up in our heads) for having traveled the longest distance roundtrip: jess, from hawaii; me, from italy. all for 48 hours of wedding fun. of course, jess is now in hong kong, so she'd win next time.

it was definitely one of the funnest weddings i have been to (well, considering i've been to two, total, and one was when i was eight years old), and everything about it was beautiful and sweet and happy (and booze-y). it's completely bizarre to realize that a good friend i've known since seventh grade is happily married, especially considering that anything at all adult-like is absolutely foreign and terrifying to me, but i think they're an amazing couple. even if dokano is one of the goofiest people alive in the world today.

since i'm actually too lazy to get my stuff together and post the rest of the italy photos, for right now, i'll put up a few of the ones i've ordered prints of on shutterfly. there's like, four of them, and they're completely random. but take a look. they're not very exciting.
