This is kind of awesome. Wilco's new album has leaked; their fans have let them know about it. Instead of bringing the legal hammer down, the band has set up a website, suggesting that fans who want the music early donate there -- proceeds go to Doctors Without Borders.

In other news, I'm off to sunny Florida until Thursday, for work. I'll still be neck-deep in internettery though, so watch this space for lots of cliched jokes about old people, stolen elections, and the students of Miami Dade Community College (for whom I'll be working). W00t!

if you want recs on good places to hang out/booze, lemme know. the best places are about 45 minutes north of where you'll be.
just don't tell him where the loose women are.
I'd love to hear any recommendations, although I have a feeling this trip will be limited to the hotel, car, and Miami Dade Community College's bunker-like Kendall campus.
