no blog love today. my eyes are about to fall out from so much work. only respite was an excellent lunch at sette osteria, a new restaurant in dupont circle that is vvv good and not outrageously expensive. good pizza, and today i had homemade basil fettucine with tomatoes, eggplant and smoked mozzarella. mmm. spotty service, but the food was worth it. now if only i'd treated myself to a glass of wine or four, today would have gone by much faster. hm. good idea for later this evening.

in any case, at least i have the season finale of america's next top model to look forward to tonight! my pick to win: shandi, the drug-dabbling, safe-stealing walgreen's-loving alien giraffe. it better not be mercedes, aka lupus girl. disease pity can take you only so far. and, as we all know, yoanna is WAY TOO FAT to ever be a real model.

and yet another dumb book quiz to entertain you: which classic novel do you belong in? and, i am...

I believe you belong in Pride and Prejudice; a
world of satire and true love. A world where
everything is crystal clear to the reader, and

free-thought puts you above the silly masses,
and where bright eyes and intelligence are
enough to attract the arrogant
millionaire/prejudiced young woman of your
choice.

You belong in the fashionable circles of Victorian London where exotic tastes, a double life, decadence, wit and a hypocritical belief in moral betterment make you a home. You belong where the witty apothegms of Lords, the silly moralities of matrons, the blinding high of opium, and the beauty of visual arts mingle to form one convoluted world."

I got "Gone With The Wind" when I changed one answer I was on the fence about...
