oscar pull!
scott has just prepped the 2004 oscar pull for everybody! we've been gambling on the oscars for a few years now...i would have won the first year, except some asshole jacked his entire set of answers from roger ebert and won over me. i still think he should have been disqualified. the second year, i was in italy. but this year -- this year is MY year, baby. i'm ready. bring it on. my house is having an oscar party on sunday, feb. 29 -- everyone's invited, if you think you can stand the four-hour bore-a-thon. i think we should create a custom oscar drink to help us through the evening. goldschlager with something? the oscar pull rules and ballot are contained within.
OK so here is the deal for the Oscar Pull 2004(insert excessive cheering and applause here). Below you will find this year's ballot. Point distributions are located next to the categories. Simply cut and paste the ballot to a word document, delete all the choices other than your picks and either mail the ballot to:
Scott's address, deleted to protect the innocent
along with your $5 entry fee, or give your ballot to Catherine along with your $5. As you may or may not know, this year's official Oscar Party is taking place on sunday, February 29 at 3306 John Marshall, with satellite events in Knoxville, TN. Ballots and payment must be received by Saturday, February 28 at 9pmEST. Again, I remind you, it is illegal to simply cut and paste Roger Ebert's picks.

Actually, Catherine, the Oscar Pull is now in its fourth year. I believe Naomi won the inaugural contest. So, as a reminder, you are 0-2.
WHAT?? no way.
and I WOULD HAVE WON IF BOND HADN'T CHEATED, THAT MOTHERFUCKER.
