i'm evil, and didn't go to work today, because i was esentially too lazy to shovel my car out from under like, 4 inches of snow. woe is me. also, the buses weren't working, so there. but i just realized i may have wasted a day of vacation to stay home at tommy's and surf the internet. oh well. the extra like, 5 hour of sleep were pretty worth it.

hey italy people - i just realized that those alitalia tickets (direct flight from d.c. to milan) seem to go into may as well. i mean, the price of under $500 extends at least that far. so i may consider going late april as well. though the country would be considerably more touristy then, which might be annoying. i'm trying to figure out if it would be interesting to be in italy during easter weekend, or completely idiotic. in any case, i would definitely not be in rome at that time. but i think i want to go on a bike day trip from florence to fiesole (beautiful village outside of florence with roman ruins).

i would like to give a shout out to the cd "who will cut our hair when we're gone," by the unicorns. tommy got me interested in it, and it's quirky and fun and catchy and done by canadians, as all good music should be.

so, tomorrow is the new hampshire primary. which means the political oracle (ie me) should be having some interesting dreams tonight. await them and see. i also forgot to mention that a few nights ago, i had a dream about this tiny elephant...it was so cute. like, as big as a small stuffed elephant. however big that might be. and it was trying SO hard to fly with its ears, a la dumbo, but it couldn't, and all these other people/animals were making fun of it. i lost track of the elephant, and went looking all over the house for it, and finally found it under the pillow under my bed, crying! it was so sad. so what is up with that? if we're assuming i'm the political oracle (which i am), i would have to interpret that as something to do with republicans. but why did i sympathize with them? why was the elephant cute if it symbolized evil republicans?
