addendum: over at the daily kos, people leaving comments are promising to donate $25-$50 to the first candidate who mentions this during the debate tonight. i will, too. it needs to be brought to the light; who can believe that wp and nyt have not mentioned it at all yet, even though this story has apparently been around for over a month? when the paul o'neill thing was huge news on every front page for over a week?

it makes me totally ashamed of all journalism.
