Okay. Welcome to my triumphant second entry. My new years' resolutions, while not actually formed into sentences per se, generally involve (1) being more creative and (2) sticking it to The Man with improved frequency. I just made that second part up, and mostly since I'm writing this instead of doing work. With that said, allow me to interject myself into Catherine's stream of righteous outrage -- all of which I agree with, but approach with the smug silence of a man whose candidate is in front.

As you may have begun to suspect, the holidays are over. I spent some of the time in Vermont being pleasantly bored and the rest at home complaining about how I was sick (one of my favorite winter pasttimes). I think a bunch of my friends might have visited. It's hard to say -- the batteries in the wavebirds are drained, so I'm leaning toward yes.
